Pascale Padilla's creative break came early as part of the duo Moscow Apartment. With a Young Performers Award at Folk Music Canada in 2017, Moscow Apartment went on to win the Its Your Shot Award with Slaight Music in 2018, recording their EP in Nashville. Moscow Apartment became Housewife and the band performed across Canada and the United States at festivals like the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Vancouver Folk, Mariposa, Ottawa Bluesfest and more. Pascale left Housewife in 2022 to live in Montreal and produce her own music. The strong independent music scene in Montreal has been a revelation: a musical community that supports musicians with venues that thrum with real listeners.
